Mitt Romney Ditches The Republican Party?

Romney aides are saying that it was an accident...

(Washington Examiner) Former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney accidentally registered as an unaffiliated voter.

Romney, who is moving to Utah to be closer to his son Josh, filled out voter-registration paperwork to vote at his home, which is under construction, reported the Salt Lake City Tribune.

But the form mistakenly listed outdated information and Romney failed to correct it, the paper reported.

The pre-printed form from the Division of Motor Vehicles database had his former Park City address listed as well as his party affiliation as "unaffiliated" but Romney signed it anyway.

State election officials explained some “star-struck” clerks coupled with Romney’s inattentiveness may have caused the problem.

Both Mitt and wife Ann have Utah drivers licenses and are in the process of registering as Republicans, a Romney aide said,

  1. Who cares what this RINO Progressive does? We have had enough of these Moderate Progressives the Establishment marches out every 4yrs and forces down our throats as an alternative to Fascist Demoncrats! It's Mitt and the RNC that gave the Illegal in Cheif his second term and refused to even declare that the Establishment was guilty of the greatest Fraud ever foisted upon our Republic, by not Vetting our Lawless President before the People! Can anyone say Third Party the next time, they shove the lesser of two Evils at us "McCain, Romney" time for the TEA Party to become the Real Conservative Party, so quit supporting the RNC, DNC as they both are NWO Progressives Hell bent on Destroying our Republic!!!

    2. The Tea Party is right in backing the GOP. The GOP's are not perfect and there will be always some RINO but it is better than the Demo. Don't be so idealistic, as there is no perfect Party. The Tea Party should be independent but it has the right to back up a party which it thinks to be better.

    3. With comments like the first two bozos above no wonder our country is in the condition it is in. Followers not leaders. The Dems will continue to rule with dimwits like this. They are laughing all the way to the voting booth where they will vote five times.

    4. You are the biggest asshole that ever lived you moron, maybe you enjoy having this jackass continue to run this country into the ground and take everything you have away from you, you communist pig.

    5. Troll alert!! Its suicide for Republicans and Independent Conservatives to back a third party candidate. This is exactly the Obamalinsky game plan. Divide and conquer. Mitt Romney is probably the most electable Republican out there. Christie hurt himself with the Obama hug and the media created Bridgegate because they needed to get him shut down. They feared a Christie candidacy. There is no perfect candidate out there, but the hard core one issue conservatives are hurting all of us when they stay home or throw their vote away to a third party and allow an Islamocommunist get elected twice.

    6. That is a lot of blame to lay on one man. I still stand by Mitt. We would have a better economy, jobs are # 1 to keep this country going. And I do believe his plan on getting undeserving people off of welfare was a great one.I am tired of seeing perfectly healthy folks that aren't' even looking for a job because they say they don't pay enough. So, Get on welfare and let the ones of us who have taken this type of job until things get better ( which I doubt they are under this administration) Pay for it. We need to remember there isn't ever going to be a perfect one but I sure would like one who loves the country and is truly trying to make it better for all of us instead of a lying pos that makes it known how he loves Islam and " we aren't a christian nation" comments . Funny , we were until he came in and leaves our borders open so any kind of diseased parasite killers come in.

    9. Remember the 4 million Republicans that did not vote during the last Presidential because they didn't want to vote for a Mormon. So what we got was not a Socialist, not a Communist, but a "hoping to be Fascist" leading this country and well on his way to succeeding. How is that working out for you, you 4 million republicans? The big "O" is hell bent on implementing the his book "Dreams Of My Father" an avowed Communist.

  2. I do, he is not a Rino; if he were he would have one. Tell me something, why has the Republican establishment hired two former Democratic strategists. Because they are Progressives. Karl Rove and. Dick Morris are not promoting conservative values as they are no more interested in them than the Pope would give up his position for a Rabbi.

Mitt Romney is exactly the kind of man we need running this country. He is respectful of his wife and faithful. His children are respectful and successful. He is faithful. And anyone could cut government waste and reduce our debt, he would know how to do that. He didn't win because the Republican Party did not support him in the manner he deserved. He didn't fit in with their Progressive agenda. He could win as an independent.

    1. Well said! The only thing I differ with you on is that an Independent cannot win and will only give the election to the Democrats.

    2. I agree. Mitt woulld have saved us from this POS we got disgracing our White House right now. Everything that has gone wrong in the world and in this country since 2008 can be blamed directly to this embarrassing poor excuse for a black man.

  4. Noah Webster on the Right and Responsibility to Vote

“When you become entitled to exercise the right of voting for public officers, let it be impressed on your mind that God commands you to choose for rulers, "just men who will rule in the fear of God." The preservation of government depends on the faithful discharge of this duty; if the citizens neglect their duty and place unprincipled men in office, the government will soon be corrupted; laws will be made, not for the public good so much as for selfish or local purposes; corrupt or incompetent men will be appointed to execute the laws; the public revenues will be squandered on unworthy men; and the rights of the citizens will be violated or disregarded. If a republican government fails to secure public prosperity and happiness, it must be because the citizens neglect the divine commands, and elect bad men to make and administer the laws”.
Noah Webster, 1758-1843, Advisor to the Founding Fathers, statesman, educator, lexicographer and author of Webster's Dictionary. History of the United States (New Haven: Durrie & Peck, 1832), pp. 336-337, 349.

    1. Bravo!! Well said, sir/madam. John Adams had similar quotes about electing people with good character and ethics. A person's character is the most important quality and their personal life is not only fair game to look at, its the best judge of character if they don't have a voting record or vote present when the tough votes come down.

  5. Yeah, all of those of you who voted for a third party in the presidential election, put the muslim in office, hope you are proud of yourselves, and now you want to do it again. Well don't bitch at the result when the libtards win again.

    1. Lance has it exactly right! Don't let liberal trolls pretending to be conservatives get you fired up to throw your vote away and put their losers in office.

  6. WHY would the question be pertinent to the Division of Motor Vehicles? If I were to fill out that form, I would check "unaffiliated" if only to say, NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS! Would a police officer not give a ticket if it were a Democrat or Republican or Independent? I think the question should be scrubbed from the database.

  7. It is national suicide for Republicans and Independent Conservatives to back a third party candidate. This is exactly the Obamalinsky game plan. Divide and conquer. Mitt Romney is probably the most electable Republican out there. Christie hurt himself with the Obama hug and the media created Bridgegate because they needed to get him shut down. They feared a Christie candidacy almost as much as Romney. 8. Mitt Romney is the man to elect in 2016
Man of excellent character, good family man, intelligent and loves this country, the USA, more than himself.
Is he not the one who should have won in 2012?. Obama cheated and stole the election from him.
