Pastor Charged With Crime For Asking 'Gay Bakery' To Make A Christian Cake

What more needs to be said. Read what happened to this pastor when he asked a gay bakery to bake a 'Christian Cake'...

(WND) In the latest eruption between "gay" activists and Christians over religious liberty, a Florida bakery is calling a biblically based message a former pastor and a social media personality asked to have written on a cake an expression of “hate.”

Sharon Haller, owner of Cut the Cake in Longwood, Fla., told ClickOrlando that Joshua Feuerstein called her shop and asked for a sheet cake that said, "We do not support gay marriage."

And she posted a video online documenting the request. The video first had been posted online by Feuerstein, but he took it down when the bakery asked him to. Then the bakery posted it online.

The fight concerns the legitimacy of claims by LGBT activists that Christian bakers, photographers and others who choose not to participate in same-sex weddings are discriminating against them. Yet several times bakers who approve of homosexuality have flatly refused to do business when a biblical message is involved. ...

  1. Gay cake buyers, Just find a place that will bake one. Straight buyers, same thing. Me, I don't like cake anyway. Gay people say they want respect:? But they do not give out respect for other people that are not Gay. I wonder why? kinda like talking out of both sides of your month. Want respect, then give respect. What ever you want, give it away first. Want hate, then hate, want laughter, then laugh, I did my best to teach that to all my kids when they grew up. All five of them. They are doing fine.

  2. So it is discrimination when a Christian Business refuse to do business with a homosexual, but it's not discriminating when a homosexual business refuses to do business with a Christian wanting a Biblical Verse on a Cake or on an invitation. It appears that homosexuals are the ones who hate, and when they can't get their way they cry like the B__ch they are, what Bigots, what lost soul they are, and I guess they'll always be that way.

  3. I guess we can avoid these kinds of problems by being obedient to the Holy Bible: "Abstain from all appearance of evil" (1 Thessalonians 5:22).

  5. This sounds like it may be a way to put some people in thier place, The very next step the Minister should take it to contact the ACLU, And file for asistence... If they refuse, Sue them for Fraud just to remind them that the Freedom of Religion clause is one of the Constitutionally Enumerated Rights and as such is chief amount many Civil Liberties, Homosexuality [N]ot so much!!!

  6. The church should sue the Baker , it is racist to refuse a pastor , that has proof in the Bible , that God was against Homosexual Marriage .

  9. If they had a national vote on homosexual marriage it would lose in a landslide. Marriage is a religious term defined as a conjugal relationship. Two men or women engaged in sex cannot by definition have a conjugal relationship. The choices homosexual's make are their business but please leave the rest of us alone.

  10. So you ignore all the legitimate polls, but only believe those taken among Focus on the Family or other hate group members? The March 1-5 NBC News/Wall Street poll found 59% favor gay marriage. Marriage is a legal term requiring that two people sign a piece of paper and have an officiant say they are married. A religious ceremony is not required. Two men or two women who are married can certainly have a conjugal relationship, because that is the definition of conjugal. Quit denying that "homosexual's (sic)" should have equal rights and there would be no controversy.

  11. Bill G homosexuals already have equal rights and what they do will never be marriage no matter what some civil servant says. The USA is going down the drain under present day liberalism and homosexual marriage is a pathetic diversion and nothing more.

  12. "Gay marriage" is simply a device to make divorce lawyers rich.

  21. They don't just want gay marriage, they want to punish Christians because God teaches us the difference between right and wrong.
When they practice their deviant behavior, THEY HATE anyone who tries to tell them it is not "normal".

  23. This bakery must be charged with discrimination, tolerance goes both ways.

  24. You miss the point. The POINT is to put these hypocrite militant gay rights activists into the same position they put Christian bakers into, make them squirm, and prove the institutions like ACLU will act in an even-handed way.

  25. Soooo, we are "hate" mongers because we don't support public acceptance and even embracing of disgusting and immoral sexual perversions? What kind of dream world to you live in? Call it what you want, it is still unnatural perversion and SICK.

  26. The NBC / Wall St. Journal poll was just one of many polls that say the same thing. And actually 33% (not 41%) said they oppose. When you ask the simple question, "do you favor or oppose gay marriage," you add up those on each side. Being "lib" or "cons" does not enter into counting. Polls predict votes, so there is no basis for PBHayes to say "it would lose by a landslide," other than his opinion. The times they are a-changing.

  27. Of course you can not back up your statement that "homosexuals already have equal rights." You assume, wrongly, that there is federal law the prohibits employment discrimination. You do not know that there no laws in 29 states that explicitly prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation. An employer (see Cracker Barrel) in those states can fire any employee if he or she is actually or perceived to be gay, and can write that on their termination papers. Unfortunately, you still don't realize that the laws of the US are not controlled by any church, and whether you like it or not, people who have been issued marriage licenses and an officiant has performed a marriage are married.

  28. The said itself is provocative. Common sense would not ask a pro-homosexual business to act against their willingness. (This was not a simple order, it was a persecution). In no way should I ask a pro-Christian bakery to bake a "We love satan" cake; their reaction would be even worse. -It's clear that the pastor knew what he was doing was provocative. In general, a business should be neutral, the only thing I hold against the bakery itself.

  29. Please list by name all of the following: your sons and daughters, your brothers and sisters, your nieces and nephews, your uncles and aunts, your parents, your grandparents.... your bosses, your co-workers, your clergy person, your town officials. Keep listing until you get to 100. Then if you believe one theory, pick 2, or if you believe another theory, pick 10, who you know or suspect are either gay, lesbian, or bisexual. Then call them up and tell them that you want them to be exterminated, eradicated, or expelled. When you make your call to your ______, see if they really think you are such a great guy. Of course, you might have to include yourself in the list of 2 or 10. If you don't know the theories, one says 2% and the other says 10% are gay, lesbian, or bisexual. And if you "fool around" once, are you really in the bisexual group? Every gay, lesbian or bisexual person has a parent. Is the parent responsible for the sexual orientation of the child? Just some things to think about as you pretend you are a modern Hitler using the word Exterminated.

  32. They want there cake and eat it to.

  33. Now we see the hypocritical side of this isue, when homo's demand a christian bakery to bake them a cake, and the christian refuses, they cry discrimination.
When the christian ask the homo. to bake a christian cake and they refuse, just what woulld one call that, isn't it discrimination, if not why not?
The homo's want thier cake and eat it too.

  34. I would think being Gay has been around for a long long time, and Law or rules did not change that fact, then one has to say why is this being shoved down our throats, seems a diversion. No one is talking about way are we still bombing with no funds, our school falling apart, social services, VA services, you name it, so let's get off this wagon and let the gays just deal with it.
