New York Times Op-Ed: Pedophlia A Civil Right

It was bound to happen, now that the radical left believes it has won the battle on so-called "same-sex marriage," the next battle is about to be waged.

(Daily Caller) The nation’s tough anti-pedophilia laws are unfair to pedophiles, according to an op-ed published by The New York Times’ editors.

“One can live with pedophilia and not act on it,” says Margo Kaplan, an entrepreneurial assistant law professor at Rutgers University, and a former lawyer for the American Civil Liberties Union.

Tragically, the roughly 1 percent of “people who are sexually attracted to children] must hide their disorder from everyone they know — or risk losing educational and job opportunities, and face the prospect of harassment and even violence,” she wrote.

Kaplan is trying to make a legal career in the regulation of expanding sexual diversity, instead of routine and lower-status practice areas, such as torts, probate, crime or copyrights. She’s focused on “legal limitations on intimate decisions, particularly the use of criminal law in areas of health and sexuality,” according to her web page.

  1. If this was to become a "right" if one of those asses were to molest one of my children or grandchildren they better have a bed ready for me in a prison because after I tortured the freak I was either castrate him or kill him. At my age I woukfn't live long enough to be put to death. And after serving in the army 26 years I would not need a gun to do my deed.......it really takes an idiot to want put children in harms way.

  2. Well lets see, if pedophilia Is a civil right, then we straight people have the right to blow pedophiles away...When does the insanity stop?...I used to joke about this, and I swore it would happen someday, gay marriage opened the door. ...slippery slope, slippery slope...2+2=5...illegal=legal.

  3. Look at it this way; the sooner our civilization collapses, the sooner sane and civilized people can begin rebuilding it. You do realize it IS going to collapse? There are no longer enough people who understand what is afoot to prevent its occurrence. We can only hope that after the fall the stupid among us (including employees of the Times and the U.S. government will step aside and let wise heads lead again.

    1. "The stupids among us" will not step aside. They will have to be pushed aside. They are like my dog who attacked a skunk, got sprayed, and learned nothing from the experience. She will do it again and again as reflexively as she breathes. Liberals and progressives are no different.

  4. Good Grief... now I know why I despised nearly every moment I ever spent at Rutgers back in the late 60's. They tried to entice me to stay for grad school in the queen of useless disciplines - sociology. Glad I finally got some backbone and gave them a view of my rear end -- SOUNEST moral decision i ever made...

"My Father sent me to old Rutgers
Resolved that I could molest kids...."
