(WND) Fox News anchor Shepard Smith is now apologizing for calling Robin Williams “a coward” just hours after the popular actor committed suicide Monday.

"Something inside you is so horrible or you’re such a coward or whatever the reason that you decide that you have to end it. Robin Williams, at 63, did that today," Smith said during his breaking-news broadcast.

  2. When people let stupid words out of their mouth, we cringe. It's painful when it's not someone we know, more so when it is. We've heard stupid words from both sides of the fence. The speakers often revealing a bit of their hearts during their slip of the tongue. However, in every case, if the speaker is sincerely apologetic, forgiveness is demanded. After all, are we not all human and prone to err?

We can forgive but, we should also be wary of future "slips". We will know the sincerity of the apology from future actions. This is how we know the heart of the speaker - from any source, left or right.

    1. Harsh words coming from somebody who is "anonymous", now isn't it? Fox News is generally more respected in this country than the rest of the liberal mouthpieces who won't bother to shed the light of day on our lying, America hating, Muslim?, cowardly, golfer!! But that said, depression will absolutely make you kill yourself...I've been on several calls in my medical responder history. It is a debilitating condition.
