Congressman Moves To Cut Off Eric Holder's Salary

Cut off his salary? Far too many Americans would probably rather see Eric Holder placed in a 5 x 10 foot stinking cell.




(FOX News) A Republican lawmaker has introduced legislation that would cut off pay to Attorney General Eric Holder and other federal officials who have been held in contempt of Congress.

Rep. Blake Farenthold, R-Texas, introduced the "Contempt Act" on Tuesday, less than a week after alluding to the measure during a contentious House Judiciary Committee hearing where Holder faced criticism from GOP lawmakers.

"The American people should not be footing the bill for federal employees who stonewall Congress or rewarding government officials’ bad behavior," Farenthold said in a statement. "If the average American failed to do his or her job, he or she would hardly be rewarded."

  4. I love the idea of holding anyone in contempt of Congress losing their pay! Holder is a blooming idiot that thinks he is above the law! It is past time to send this jackass a clear message. You disobey Congress, you lose your pay plain & simple. Eric Holder SUCKS at his job. Who the hell does he think he is anyway? A foreigner from Barbados!
