Sarah Palin Scolds Republicans For Re-Opening The Government

We're certain that Reuters is attempting to make Palin look bad, but what this media outlet doesn't realize is that the American people probably support her stance. A government that funds something as horrendous as ObamaCare needs to be shut down.

(Reuters) - Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, who rallied members of the Tea Party in their failed effort to defund ObamaCare, lashed out on Saturday against members of the Republican Party who agreed to end the government shutdown.

The bulk of Palin's speech was focused on the nation's current political climate. She drew thunderous applause with her sharp attack on Republicans in Congress who voted in October to raise the nation's debt ceiling and reopen the government.

"They promised that they would do everything in their power to fight against socialized medicine, against ObamaCare, but when it came time to stand and defund it, they waved the white flag of surrender and they threw under the bus the good guys who did stand up and fight for us," Palin said.

  3. As I look over the Republican Party, I ask were has Conservatism gone, men and women who stood up for true Conservatism. Today the Republican party is at war with the Conservatives who want to bring Government back to the people again. Ronald Reagan turn in his grave if he could see Republicans attacking Republicans a cardinal rule he said we should never do. These leaders in Washington D.C. who want change to a more moderate Conservative party have lost what true Conservatism is all about and now we have this war of power over the people. One doesn't have to look back in history to see how the American people see moderate Conservatives in the past two Presidential elections, we lost to a man with no experience in running a Nation, because the elites in Washington gave us two men who were not Conservative but moderates. John McCain Mitch McConnell and Graham have now launch war on the Conservatives because they don't want change in Washington they want to remained in power and the true Conservatives see them as a threat to the Constitution of America. It will take the people of America to get behind those Conservatives in office and those who our running this next November to boot the moderates out of office and bring Government back to the citizens again.

  4. Reuters does not have to make Palin look bad. She does that all by her self.

She is nothing but a publicity hound. She has no concern for anyone but herself.

  5. She is right. The cowardly republicans that voted to continue obamacare and give Obummer an open credit card should ALL be thrown out. They betrayed the people and the Constitution that they swore to uphold.

  6. The republicans had better decide if they are for America or part of Obamas team. They will not be welcome unless they start standing up for the Constitution and the people.
