Dad: My Son Is 'Sorry' For Beating Boy On Bus... 'But That's Just The Way It Is'

We've all seen the shocking footage of three teens beating a 13-year old boy on a school bus. Now the father of one of the perps has chimed in: "All I can say is he's had his consequences already, you know?" said the father of the boy. "We’re sorry what happened to the victim, but that’s just the way it is. My son ain't never been no bad person..."

(FOX News) The father of one of three Florida teens charged in a vicious school bus attack said his son is “sorry” for taking part in the July beating that made national headlines.

As the trio headed to court on Tuesday, Julian McKnight said his son Julian, 15, has also suffered in the aftermath of the July 9 attack on a Pinellas County school bus after it left Lealman Intermediate School in the St. Petersburg-area community of Gulfport.

The three teens arrested in the attack — Lloyd Khemradj, Julian McKnight and Joshua Reddin — arrived at the Pinellas County courthouse early Tuesday. All three 15-year-olds declined to comment when approached by Fox News. All three were charged with aggravated battery. Reddin is also charged with unarmed robbery.

  1. So the question to ask is: what conduct do you consider unacceptable? What conduct is bad and deserves punishment?

  2. Jesse made the remark that there was little relationship between Trayvon and this case. Martin was unarmed and shot: Trayvon was shot for nearly beating a man to death. It doesn't matter if Martin was unarmed, he tried to use a sidewalk as a deadly weapon and had threatened to kill Zimmerman. Trayvon was shot in a last desperate attempt to save his own life.

Jesse went further to say that so many blacks had been shot by police, security guards, and vigilantes. Security guards don't shoot people, unless there are signs warning people they could be shot on sight or their lives are being threatened. For the most part, it is the same with police officers. As far as vigilantes are concerned, is Jesse saying that anyone that uses a firearm to defend themselves against an attacker and shoots them is a vigilante? If you are doing something wrong that gets you shot, more than likely a person had a reasonable idea their life was being threatened. How is this supposed to be the wrong kind of response to an attack? Shouldn't it be expected that you could be shot for behavior that threatens the lives of others?

Those three teens were beating a boy unmercifully on a bus. Had the bus driver and others not have been witnessing the incident, would they have stopped the beating? The boy was under a seat of the bus, which protected the boy from some of the physical damage that the thugs were dealing out. Had the circumstances been a little different and the bus seat not have been given protection to the innocent teen, would the others have stopped before they killed him? Is that just the way it is? If the white boy had a weapon and killed one or more of the blacks, would that have been just the way it is? I seriously doubt it. Blacks need to realize that, just the way it is, also means that if you are participating in violent behavior that could kill someone; expect that you might get caught in a fatal retaliation from the attacked.
