Video: Republican Lawmakers Scared To Demand Obama Prove Constitutional Eligibility
Two members of the Alabama Republican Executive Committee, Hugh McInnish and
Dean Johnson, asked the state GOP to join them in demanding that the court issue
an order that would have required Barack Obama to present a valid birth
certificate to the Alabama Secreatary of State before his name could be placed
on the ballot; and the sub-committee rejected the request by a vote of 9-to-7,
with many of the leaders below the chairman voting yea.
