Obama Drunken Illegal Alien Uncle Onyango Overstays Deportation Order

Barack Obama's drunken uncle Onyango Obama is back in the news. After his arrest in August, Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) issued him a deportation stay that was set to expire on June 5, 2012, and now, a month after the expiration of that deportation order, people can only ask why is uncle Onyango still in the country?

According to a report in The New American, Onyango Obama's saga started in 1963 when he came to the United States to go to school in Cambridge, Massachusetts. According to the Boston Globe reported, he was “under the limited supervision" of Barack Obama's father.

The Globe also reports that even though Onyango dropped out school soon thereafter, federal authorities didn't get around to ordering him out of the country until 1989. He bought himself another three years in the United States by appealing the order but in 1992, the federal government ordered him to depart yet again.

But he never bothered to leave. As The New American puts it: "Apparently, the thought of physically putting the recalcitrant illegal alien on a plane with a one-way ticket back to Africa did not occur to federal immigration authorities."

You really should read the rather long and involved, but highly interesting, Uncle Onyango saga at the New American and find out how a man can avoid deportation for 50 years in spite of multiple arrests, over the years, for selling alcohol to minors and obtain a Social Security card and driver’s license.

Suffice it to say, being the relative of Barack Obama means never really having to say you're sorry.

  2. Hard to say I am surprised. After all Auntie Zeituni did the same thing and is now living here on our dimes. The rules were made for anyone not related to President Obama. He writes his own rules for his relatives and campaign contributors. Solyndra and the other green energy companies that failed come to mind.
