Of course, the recent outburst of fraudulent registrations begs the question:
Is Barack Obama depending upon these types of "registrations" to help him
succeed in "winning" the November election and is the recent crusade of Atty.
General Eric Holder to sue states with voter identification laws on the books
nothing more than an attempt to pave the way for massive voter fraud to occur?
As Republicans move for laws requiring people to produce identification at the
polls before voting (and to safeguard the voter ID laws already on the books),
Democrats falsely accuse Republicans of trying to suppress minority vote.
Such accusations, while almost idiotic, are forming the basis for a number of
court actions by Holder's Department of Justice (DOJ). One of those states is
Texas, which is only one of 26 states with voter identification laws.
However, WorldNetDaily.com tells us that a recent study by a DOJ specialist
which supposedly delivered an extensive record of eligible Texas voters that
didn't have government-issued IDs, and therefore could be disenfranchised at the
polls in November, appears to be a fraud.
The records ended up containing, among other things, the names of 50,000 dead
people, 261,887 voters who listed a driver’s license number on their
registration forms and an additional 800,000 who are known to possess valid
identification.
The records also show the names of individuals with military IDs who had
relocated to various other states, handicapped voters who are already exempt
from the requirement to show a photo ID law and non-citizens.
Additionally, the records of people who lacked government issued IDs contained
the names of George W. Bush, the spouse of former-Senator Phil Gramm, Senator
Kay Bailey Hutchison and the name of Keith Ingram, the Texas director of
elections.
But the most startling revelation were the examples of attempts to register the
deceased pets of individuals across the nation. WorldNetDaily.com lists a number
of examples:
"In Seattle, Wash., last month, Brenda Charlston received a voter registration
form in the mail from the Voter Participation Center with all the blanks filled
in for “Rosie Charlston,” her black Labrador who died in 1998."
"In June, in Buford County, Va., Tim Morris received a filled-out voter
registration form for “Mozart Morris” addressed to “Mo,” his dog that passed
away two years before. Again, the form came in the mail from the Voter
Participation Center."
"In Bernalillo County, N.M., an anonymous Republican registered his dog as a
voter at a voter registration booth at the University of New Mexico to show how
easy it would be to defraud the system. Election officials claim they followed
the law and referred the case to state prosecutors for criminal investigation of
the dog owner!"
