Impeach Obama Demonstration Snarls Traffic On California Interstate

(Carlsbad Patch) With signs saying "Remember Benghazi," "Obama Lies" and "No Amnesty," a group of people held an Impeach Obama demonstration Saturday on a Carlsbad overpass that slowed southbound traffic on Interstate 5.

Advertised on meetup.com, the event was described as anti-Obama, "but that includes anti-amnesty, gun rights, eligibility skepticism, illegal wars, Benghazi, etc., whatever your preferred reason is that Obama should be removed from office." Organizers estimated 25,000 to 30,000 vehicles would pass the protest, which the meetup posting said would start with a 10 a.m. setup. Traffic around 12:15 p.m. was slowed as far north as Camp Pendleton—but speeds returned to normal immediately after the overpass, Patch was told.
