New Poll: Half Of Americans Want Obama Impeached

[So says] Fritz Wenzel, of Wenzel Strategies, which did the telephone poll
Thursday. It has a margin of error of 4.36 percent. "Half or nearly half of those surveyed said they believed Obama should be impeached for the trifecta of scandals now consuming Washington." Actually, on the issue of the Benghazi scandal, where four Americans were killed when in what may have been a politically motivated series of moves, a surging danger to Americans at the foreign service facility there was ignored until al-Qaida-linked terrorists attacked, 50.1 percent of Americans said Obama should be impeached. That included 27.6 percent of the responding Democrats. |

ReplyDeleteHillary Clinton, with perhaps feigned exasperation asked: “ …What difference at this point does it make?...” concerning the State Department’s talking points mischaracterizing the Benghazi attack. Apparently a lot of difference since CIA’s talking points was revised 12 times before Susan Rice delivered them. Had the attack indeed resulted from a spontaneous, unpredictable demonstration, then the Administration’s doing nothing preparing for such violence would be excusable – and a demonstration run-wild might well not justify mounting a potentially messy counter-force response.
ReplyDeleteThe fact is Benghazi personnel informed the State Department (read WH), almost immediately that our consulate was under a coordinated terrorist attack and the Administration, paralyzed by fear that Obama’s re-election might be somehow jeopardized, did absolutely nothing to save our fellow Americans. The attack lasted only seven hours but it might well have lasted 7 days - we had no way of knowing – yet, no rescue attempt was mounted, effectively consigning our people to death; in military parlance, this is cowardly and callous, dereliction of duty. In civilian terms this falls under “high crimes and misdemeanors,” rendering Barack Obama far more deserving of impeachment than either Richard Nixon or Bill Clinton, mere pikers in comparison.
