RINO Vows To Resurrect Law of the Sea Treaty From The Dead
Conservatives defeated the Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST) a month ago when Senator
Jim DeMint got 34 members of the United States Senate to sign a letter stating
that they would vote against it (treaties must pass the Senate by a 2/3rds
majority), but that's not stopping RINO Lisa Murkowski (RINO-AK) from trying
to resurrect it from the depths of the ocean.
Murkowski told The Associated Press that LOST will have better prospects in the Senate when the fall campaign is over and that she's hoping it will be brought to a vote during the lame-duck session of Congress after the election. |
Taking the expression "beating a dead horse" to the extreme, the
delusional Murkowski is hoping that once the election is over, at least one
(or more) of the 34 Senators who have vowed to vote against LOST might be
willing to break their word to the American people. |
