[Video] Ted Cruz's First Presidential Campaign Commercial... Watch It Now

Cruz is calling the spot "A Time For Truth," but the piece is more reminiscent of Ronald Reagan's "Morning In America" ad from years past and it's a doozy...

  1. To all those who are fed up with the government status quo, Cruz is the way to go.

  2. Why are countries giving in so easily to these dictators. NATO should be abolished and we should stop funding them.

  3. Cruz has my vote. I'm an Army veteran and a retired FBI Agent. I've lived and worked in about 75 countries and never before in our nations history have we been so weak both at home and abroad. I hear all the time from high level foreign government officials that they are extremely worried America will not stand with them against our mutual enemies. It's absolutely imperative our next President is a Conservative who is honest and competent. The Democrats will once again run a person who is wholly unsuitable, incompetent and corrupt. If they win our nation can't take anymore of the same and that's what will happen. The Clinton's and Obama's are peas in a rotten pod.

  4. For Cruz to succeed, he needs MANY ordinary Americans to send MONEY. MANY good candidates have been defeated in the primaries because they do not get enough people to donate to their campaigns. The GOP establishment will give them NO MONEY in order to get rid of them and put in their pick. Example: Romney beat Santorum b/c Santorum could not raise the money to continue and to buy air time. When Carl Rove saw Rick in second place, making it that far an a shoe string, he POURED money into Romney's campaign to be sure to beat him.
I sent a small donation to Ted today, to give him encouragement. PLEASE do the same!! If everyone sent a small donation... he would have enough.
Last time, people would say to me, I really liked Santorum, it is a shame he came in second in the primaries. I would ask them.. did you send him any money? The answer every time was NO. THAT is why he came in second. Don't let that happen again!!

  5. Send him some money to run! He cannot win without ordinary people supporting him.

  6. Plan on doing just that Kathleen_smith121!

  7. This is the man we need in the White House. Please support him.

  8. We have so much talent to choose from. We can not nominate a RINO !!!! And we can't forget - conservatives are still in the majority in this country !!

  9. Before we jump on the bandwagon for Ted Cruz, we had better make absolutely sure that he is legally and Constitutionaly eligible to run for the office of POTUS. Remember, he was born in Canada to a U.S. citizen mother and a Father who was a Cuban citizen. As much as I like Cruz, I am not certain that he qualifies under the strict rules of the Constitution. We do not want to elect another POTUS who is not, was not Constitutionlly eligible.

  10. Jimbo, you might be confusing the UN - United Nations- with NATO - the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. We are funding the UN and receive nothing in return; at least, NATO is a group of European countries, which defend their and our interests in Europe. You can't defund those !

  11. Yes, he is eligible as was Barry Goldwater, John McCain and George Romney. Birthplace does not matter as long as one parent is eligible (by citizenship, length of residency and age) to pass on their citizenship to their offspring.

  12. If what you say is true, then why did congress have to have a discussion and pass legislation making McCain eligible. Both of his parents were U.S. citizens living in the Canal Zone where his father was stationed as a Naval officer. I sincerely believe according to the Constitution that Cruz is not eligible even though his moter was a citizen. Canada made Cruz a citizen of Canada at his birth.

  13. Gee, what's ocommie going to do about it? Nothing, he's putins bitch. What a joke, see what happens when your leader's a fake empty suit?

  14. Congress didn't pass legislation making McCain eligible. Congress passed a resolution affirming that he was already eligible under the law. Why did Congress do it? Because what Congress says has weight and it is often necessary for an authoritative body to clarify matters.

  15. She is right! DO NOT DONATE TO THE PARTY! Donate directly to Ted because you do not know who the party will financially support . I suspect it will be Jeb Bush! Even if you have only a few dollars - send it because multiply your donation of even $5 or 10 by the millions of Conservatives...

Kathleen - Please Post the address both online and pony mail to Ted - perhaps it will help (even me).

  16. Ted Cruz was a Constitual scholar and I doubt seriously he would put himself in the position of being ineligible. In addition two Harvard professors states he was eligible. IN addition I find it amusing that eligibily has come up so quickly and never with Obama which has never been clarified. He froze all of his past records: We do not know who Obama really his, or his Mother; his father is also debateable was it Barack Sr. or Frank Marshall Davis? Kenya or Hawaii? No politician has investigated nor has the media...so my question is has Obama set a precedent? I guess we won't know until Obama is made to release his past and present this country with a real, original copy of a birth certificate?

  17. As was Obama a Constitutional scholar or so they claim. Just because Obama got away with a SCAM, we can not allow it to continue. The SCOTUS really needs to interpret and make a ruling on
Article II, Section 1, Clause 5: Presidential Eligibility

  18. I stand corrected it was a resolution, not legislation.

  19. Cruz's wife is member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a Rockefeller, one-world, socialist outfit. Lots of red flags!
Also Cruz is not a 'natural born citizen' so his first act as a candidate is violating the U.S. Constitution.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Apparently Bob, you know more than Harvard law. Cruz is a natural born citizen and meets all the criteria. The squatter in our White House? Not so much.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Apparently I do! The writings of the time the Constitution was written make it plain that what I wrote above is true.
By the way, you didn't address Cruz's indirect connection with the CFR through his wife.

  22. Senator Cruz DOES NOT MEET the Article 2
requirements as intended by the Founders, even though the Constitution doesn't
define the term The 1750 Law of Nations Treatise by Vattel clearly was
referenced during the Constitutional Convention and was/is the accepted
definition of Natural Born Citizen....that is, to paraphrase the
Treatise: Anyone seeking the office of the President must be born of two
citizen parents, both of whom were either Natural Born, Native Born or
Naturalized as Citizens of the country, prior to the birth of the individual
seeking the office. The fact that Cruz was born of a U.S. citizen mother
in Canada makes him a native born citizen and the fact that his father was
naturalized in 2005, doesn't change the fact that he was a Cuban National at
the time of Ted Cruz's birth. And, holding so-called "dual"
citizenship has absolutely no affect on the intended purpose of the Natural
Born Citizenship clause, as it has existed for 230 years, relative to the
eligibility requirements set out in Article 2, Section 5 and concerning the
Office of the President which is/was the only elected office in the land
(the Vice-President has to meet that requirement ever since Political
Party's began running both candidates on the same ticket as a single choice),
    addressed by the Article.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Bob, legally it has already been determined that he is qualified to run under the Constitution. As far as his wife's background, Cruz has already addressed that.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Where has Cruz addressed his wife's CFR connection?

    ReplyDelete
  25. "Anyone seeking the office of the President must be born of two
    citizen parents."

You might actually want to read Section 212 of The Law of Nations before you attempt to quote it... just a suggestion...
