(Inquistr) Just when you thought it couldn’t get crazier, it does. Last year, the incarcerated Charles Manson made the news again after it was announced that he will be marrying a woman 53 years younger than him.
Now it seems the wedding has been called off because Manson found out that his bride-to-be only wants his corpse. The 27-year-old Elaine Burton, who goes by the name of Star, apparently hopes that she would gain possession of Charles Manson’s corpse through marriage so that she and her friends could display Charles Manson’s dead body in a tourist attraction.
According to journalist Daniel Simone, Burton and a friend named Craig Hammond, planned to put Charles Manson’s body in a glass crypt in order to draw crowds and gain money in the process. "He’s finally realized that he’s been played for a fool," Simone said. According to Simone, Charles Manson didn't like the idea because he believes that he is immortal. Simone said, "He feels he will never die. Therefore, he feels it’s a stupid idea to begin with."
