Michelle Obama Uses Racial Slur

The lack of media outrage only proves that when you're a liberal icon, you can get away with just about anything.

(WCJ) As the term ‘Redskin’ continues to face an onslaught of criticism from Americans who believe its use is insensitive to Native Americans, it appears the crusade against racial slurs remains active. When the offensive language emanates from the mouth of leftist icon Michelle Obama, however, the usual voices of outrage are strangely quiet.

Obama, herself a minority and activist for racial sensitivity, used a term believed by many to have insensitive and discriminatory undertones during a recent interview.

While describing her efforts to succeed as a working mother, Obama noted that she initially attempted to work a part-time job.

"I realized I was getting gypped on that front," she maintained.

While the original ABC report of her comments failed to mention it, a number of other sources explained the term ‘gyp’ is widely considered a slur against the Romani people.

As the Daily Caller pointed out, the word is derived from ‘gypsy,’ itself a derogatory term for the group, which suggests the use of fraud or thievery to achieve a goal. The site compares its use to similarly offensive phrases such as ‘Jewed down’ or ‘Indian giver.’

    1. No one should side with hi...er...her. She's a hypocrite just like b.o.....faking to be Christians, faking to be American....fakes...liars... No good for America. My opinion on the NAME Redskins is that it's honorable. If Natives thought NOT, then they would have objected to it a lo--oong time ago. This pc chit is very harmful, always keeping the waters churned up. Sick of it...and them.

  2. You have to realize that "gyp" is a use of a foreign word that has been absorbed into our slang.

    Get over it.

  3. Petty.....which reflects poorly on the critical...when one has to research the meaning of an accepted word it's as bad as researching to find out Oklahoma mean Man of Red Skin or thereabouts...

  4. Remember? Sticks and stone will break my bones but names will never hurt me. Unless you happen to be a complete idiot suffering from cranial rectal inversion.

  5. For this to become an issue indicates the author is @#$%^& in the head. I don't like Michelle for her beliefs, but not everything needs to be considered racist or offensive. Grow up.

    1. Agreed Feathersound. This is a stupid and trivial pursuit when there are so many scandals and egregious behavior permeating this wholly-corrupt administration. Nuff said!

    2. The term has lost all associated with a minority group. The criticism is without any merit.

    3. First of all Feathersound , Michelle obama is a man and not a woman . You would have to be blind not to see that fact . It is the first drag queen to be called the first lady . Wake Up Fool .

  6. Gypsy is derived from Egyptian, as in the distant past it was assumed to be their origin. The term "right" (as opposed to wrong) comes from middle-aged discrimination against left-handed people. How far should we carry this foolishness. Just stop being offended, and get a life, for Christ's sake. That blacks may call each other "nigger" and I cannot is discrimination in its highest form. But that doesn't bother me nearly as much as how I may not criticize a Jew or black without the racist label coming forth. To them, I may be a "Goy" or "Honkey." I don't mind at all, if it makes them feel better about themselves.

  7. WELL, SHE'S A TYPICAL 'NIGGER', AS THEY CALL EACH OTHER. YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND. THERE ARE BLACKS AND THEIR ARE 'NIGGERS'. SHE HAPPENS TO BE A 'NIGGER'. HAVE YOU SEEN THE SHOTS OF HER WHEN SHE DEPARTS AIR FORCE ONE? HE'S A BLACK MARRIED TO A 'NIGGER'. NUFF SAID HERE, TOO.

  11. According to their rules, it's OK because she's black. Lib rules are different from real people.

  12. People have no clue as to the origination of many words and that's a good thing. Did you know that the word thing came from an Italian slang word for penis. Neither did I, they don't even have the same letters or shape except in a television script where Dean Martin refers to a 'ring ding a ling' when it is in fact a reference to a male thing and its accompanying under things. Now, you know the secret of how the word thing became a part of our language. No need to thank me.
