Boehner's GOP Primary Opponent Fired From His Job For Running Against Boehner?

Is the lesson to be learned here: Run against John Boehner and get fired from your job? J.D. Winteregg is suggesting that his employer was pressured to fire him because he's running against John Boehner.

(NY Daily News) The zingers in the low-quality production may have earned the candidate cred in the “SNL” writers’ room, but his boss at Cedarville University — an independent Baptist school where he works as an adjunct professor — didn’t find it funny and fired him.

College officials told him “because of the nature of the ad, we feel we need to end the relationship at this time,” Winteregg told reporters.

The candidate suggests Team Boehner likely pressured the college to expedite his departure.

The school said only that the video "did not represent the views or values of Cedarville University."

But the school has already been criticized for censorship, after officials allegedly shut down the college’s underground paper, The Ventriloquist.

  1. The sooner we get rid of Boehner The better off we will all be. He is a person yoy can not trust, Look at his past record. It appears if big money is available Boehner wwill be there. At times he has agreed with the worst President America has ever elected!!

  2. If Boehner won't allow any Republican to run against him (and I don't know how JD Winteregg would do against him) one thing that can be done to get rid of Boehner is to VOTE FOR HIS DEMOCRAT OPPONENT! The House should be able to lose one Republican and not fall to Democrat control, and getting rid of Boehner should be worth 2 or 3 additional Democrats in the House. We can take a tip from chess players and sacrifice a man in order to win the game. Boehner and his lies and waffling have led us from the jaws of victory several times. Voting for the Democrat opponent would be just like an insurance policy, especially if the rationale is promulgated heavily in his district.
