Snopes claims that it's an urban legend but we couldn't resist. Wouldn't it be
great if someone opened up a bowling alley like the one in this story.
The viral email starts out as follows: "After losing money for years, the guy was ready to close up. But he thought he'd try one last thing before shutting down. Now, business is booming! Wonder why? Check out this bowling alley in Clearwater, Florida"
"Bowl-O-Bama, is doing record business despite a bad economy and the alley also reports a record number of 300 games!"
But then again, Snopes says it's a myth.

Do you pull a pin before you throw the ball ?
ReplyDeleteKind of defeats the purpose of the game. The purpose is to get as many as you can with each roll. In this situation I would be tempted to only take out one pin at a time.
