Girl Scouts Threaten Pro-Life Publication

Apparently the Girl Scouts' national office doesn't like the fact that this national pro-life publication has been reporting on the connection between the organization and abortion industry and have issued threats to the publisher.

(Life News) After a series of articles on the boycott and the Girl Scouts-Planned Parenthood link, that featured the Girl Scouts logo to identify the organization, Brian Crawford, an executive with Girl Scouts USA, wrote LifeNews a scathing letter attempting to intimidate us into stopping our reporting on their link and to no longer use their logo or image to identify them as we bring attention to their support for the nation’s biggest abortion business.

In his letter Crawford again denied any connection to Planned Parenthood and he complained about LifeNews.com "articles that outline alleged ties to Planned Parenthood," saying "GSUSA has an obligation to protect the Girl Scout name."

"Girl Scouts of the USA does not have a partnership or any relationship with Planned Parenthood and does not plan to initiate one," he claimed.

  1. The GSA chose to support abortion and promiscuity. Did they think no one would notice?

  2. After all the stories about the corruption of the Girl Scout organization. I think it is time for a boycott. I won't be purchasing any cookies from them this year or any time after, until they get their moral standards back again.

  3. Did anyone have any doubt that the scum of humanity, the homosexuals that destroyed the humanity of the Boy Scouts would not also go after the Girl Scouts to destroy their moral character also. Until the decent people in this country decide they have seen enough and are prepared to do WHATEVER is necessary to stop this scum we will continue to slip into oblivion as a free nation and become, as is planned by those who use such things to destroy us, another third world sink hole of humanity.

  4. The forces of darkness will not rest until they have done everything they can to destroy the moral character of both the boy scouts and girl scouts. Who is protecting them?

  5. The Girls Scouts (bless them all) have a right to their opinions. Their opinion is probably molded by their parents. So fi they are pro abortion, so be it. There is corruption of the Girl Scouts organization, as one of the above critics stated. By the way, I am a veteran of the Korean conflict era and NATO. I consider myself a conservative, even to the extent of joining the Tea Party.
Mr. Anonymous, your rhetoric is a bit over the top.

  6. The Girl Scouts are preparing the scouts for the world as it is, not the world of fantasy and mythology of the right wing nuts.
    .
Every young man and woman should have sex ed that is scientifically accurate and includes how to protect against both unwanted pregnancy as well as STDs The pro-life nuts are in a losing battle, they just have not got the message yet.

    1. Its NOT the girl scout leaders that should be teaching sex ed!!!!!!!! I will NEVER support the girl scouts or the boy scouts as long as they move in the direction they are headed.

    2. When I was a Girl Scout many years ago, we said an oath to "Do my duty to God and my country." and to "Help other people at all times...." I don't think promoting abortion as a birth control method is doing duty to God or the county. It is certainly destroying the morals of the US. And to the idiot who referred to "Right wing nuts," let me tell him I consider him to be a "Left wing nut." What's sauce for the goose...

    3. Trying to protect the life of an unborn child is a worthy action. Yes, "Pro-life nuts" certainly do want the child-killing to stop. It doesn't matter if the majority think that's OK, (Although the majority do not think abortion is appropriate) I am proud to stand up for unborn babies. If that makes me a nut, so be it.

    4. "Wrong is wrong even if everybody is doing it, and right is right even if nobody is doing it." -- St. Augustine

The Girl Scouts support muslims with their "wear a burka" day, and they support Wendy Davis, who filibustered on the floor of the Texas state senate for a mother's right to kill her baby after 22 weeks of pregnancy.

Yes - the Girl Scout organization has the freedom to espouse whatever belief system it wants - and we have the freedom to not like it or support it.

    5. You are SO right! The more sex ed you teach, the fewer diseases and fewer unplanned pregnancies and less global warming that happens. That's why there are NO unwanted babies today because of sex ed classes.

    6. right on!!! all sex ed has done is taught them how to do it!!!

  7. Patriotic American has it right. The Girl's organization was taken over years ago. They've just now made progress in ruining the Boy Scout organization. Both WERE good and worthy organizations. I hear that Christian groups have formed similar organizations to what the Scouts used to be. Good for them.
