Mitch McConnell Takes ObamaCare Repeal Off The Table

The take-away here is not that Senate Minority Leader is attempting to take away the American people's only leverage in stopping ObamaCare, but rather, by noting the people in the audience... namely, K Street lobbyists and high dollar donors. McConnell's in "fighting mode," but, unfortunately for us, he's not fighting for the American people.

(Politico) The Kentucky Republican stood up over the weekend and said he wanted to address the “elephant in the room” at a fundraising retreat in Sea Island, Ga. Speaking before roughly 300 K Streeters and big donors, McConnell said Republicans will not come close to defaulting on the nation’s debts or shutting down the government early next year when stop-gap government funding and the debt ceiling are slated to be voted on again.

His remarks echoed similar comments he made following the shutdown that it was "not conservative policy" and that he always believed “this strategy could not and would not work.”

"He’s in fighting mode," said one attendee of McConnell. "He didn’t get into specifics about what they are doing and how they are going to do it, but McConnell and (Texas Sen. John) Cornyn were particularly forceful."

    1. Why do we tolerate these two assholes? Impeach THEM, then get back to EXPELLING the 'illegal alien' Obama afterwards. Yes, EXPULSION is the method when a person, in office, is not eligible to be IN the USA, much less being POTUS--that person must be EXPELLED from our land, with the caveat that, if he returns, under cover (like he did when Soros used his enormous input to get him established in Chicago), We, The People have the option to immediately put him on a tramp steamer--or something worse--which is heading for Kenya or Indonesia, where he does have the right to be.
He needs to be gone, as the vast majority of Americans want him OUT OF THEIR CROSSHAIRS!

    2. Its time people, time for us to stop waiting on the AHOLES and time for us to get up and show them that We The People are the ones they work for, time to get rid of them and their big money supports to go straight to H-LL

  5. Collapse and let Obama bankrupt our country, claiming to be a conservative! McConnell should be recalled by the voters in KY. Obama should be impeached! Problem is that leaves Biden the town idiot as our leader. I go with Rand Paul. He owes nothing to the Republicans or Democrats. Recall and prosecute Harry Reid. NV can do much better. The Senate can do much better as well ad the House. I believe in the old adage, "shoot them all and let God figure it out".

  8. Every one in the Senate and the house running for re-election in 2014, (RINOs) need to be voted out! The others just needs to be thrown out, Boehner, Cantor, McCain!

  9. Rand Paul has it right. Term limits are the key. Both of these guys have been in congress too long and need to go. Twelve year term limits are plenty. McConnell came in as the anti-establishment candidate back when he first ran, and now he's become the thing he first ran against. DUMP HIM KY!!! You deserve better.
