(Daily Caller) On Friday’s "The Lead with Jake Tapper" on CNN, 2012 Republican
presidential nominee Mitt Romney said using a threat of a government shutdown is
the wrong way to prevent implementation of Obamacare.
In a wide-ranging interview on foreign and domestic policy, the former
Massachusetts governor weighed in on the budget fight being waged on Capitol
Hill.
Romney said that while agrees with those who want to stop Obamacare, he didn’t
endorse the idea of using the shutdown.

Why would anyone claim that Mitt Romney is "father" of Obamacare? The charge is ridiculous. It has no basis in fact. The healthcare plan put in place in Massachusetts while Romney was its governor is a Democrat plan, not developed by Romney or any other Republican. Romney did not support Obamacare in any way. He is not responsible for it.
