Rand Paul Won't Support Tea Party Challenge To RINO Mitch McConnell
(Daily Caller) Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul is endorsing Sen. Mitch
McConnell for re-election in 2014, ending speculation that Paul would back a tea
party challenge to the Senate minority leader.
The move quashes a determined effort by Kentucky Republican Liberty Caucus
chairman David Adams, who launched Paul’s Senate bid and served as Paul’s
campaign manager through the 2010 primaries, and other tea party leaders to
mount a primary challenge against McConnell. "There’s no support at all at this point for a tea party challenge," [Jesse] Benton [McConnell’s 2014 campaign manager] said, in a statement confirmed by other Kentucky Republican insiders. |

Tough, I'm still going to donate to whomever is oppossing Mitch...I'm heavilly into Tea parties and in our area, our goal is to vote out all RINOS, sorry Randy, Mitch is on his way out.
ReplyDeleteI am saddened to see that Rand Paul won't support a Tea Party challenge to Mitch the Rino McConnell. I certainly hope and pray that a viable candidate can be brought in to challenge and defeat him in a primary so we can take the Senate back.
ReplyDeletewe need to vote out of office any Republicans that are a member of the CFR, the Tri-lateral group or the Bilderberg group. They are all members of the One Word Government.
ReplyDeleteSo mount a challenge without him (Paul). Show Rand Paul that he is on notice as well. I'm sick of these back scratching politicians helping each other bilk us out of our lives and our fortunes, even though they can never take our sacred honor--only we can dump that. And I believe if we continue to support these RINOs, we will definitely be sacrificing our sacred honor. Out with Mitch, out with Paul if he can't see and understand that we don't want RINOs in Washington. I got a call from a Mitch fund raiser the other day and I told her I would never give one thin dime to him because he is not conservative. She said, "So you'd rather a democRAT win that seat?" I said, "What's the difference??" He is a special kind of sorry and needs to be off the public dole.
ReplyDeleteIt's a purely political move on Rand Paul's part. He wants to get establishment endorsement for a possible presidential run. It's NOT going to work. Paul should look at what happened to Santorum in Pennsylvania when he backed Arlen Specter over Toomey. His conservative base abandoned him and he lost. We will never forget that betrayal in Pennsylvania.
