Boehner Attacks Fellow Republican Again

Showing that he's not one to miss an opportunity to castigate a fellow Republican, John Boehner is yet again castigating a member of his own caucus.

 

The Daily Caller reports: "Speaker of the House John Boehner called for an apology from Alaska Rep. Don Young, a member of his Republican caucus, who drew fire on Thursday for using the term 'wetbacks,' a pejorative term for Mexican farm workers.

"Congressman Young’s remarks were offensive and beneath the dignity of the office he holds," Boehner said in a statement. "I don’t care why he said it — there’s no excuse and it warrants an immediate apology."

The comment was indeed reprehensible but people are once again left to ask why Boehner only shows that he has a back-bone when it comes to attacking one of his own.

  3. Didn't Eisenhower conduct a deportation program called "Wetback" something or other if it was good enough for Ike it is good enough for me. How can a truthful term be a pejorative and why are we so sensitive to the feelings of criminals. Boehner has to go!
