Gun Prosecutions Under Obama Down More Than 45 Percent
(Washington Examiner) Despite his calls for greater gun control, including a new
assault weapons ban that extends to handguns, President Obama's administration
has turned away from enforcing gun laws, cutting weapons prosecutions some 40
percent since a high of about 11,000 under former President Bush.

"If you are not going to enforce the laws on the books, then don't start talking about a whole new wave of new laws," said a gun rights advocate. |

In the wake of the horrific mass killing at Sandy Hook
Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., Democratic lawmakers have begun preparing a
new collection of anti-gun laws, including renewing the assault weapons ban,
banning the purchase of high-capacity clips that spring bullets into guns, and
tightening rules on who can buy weapons.

obummer is NOT interested in reducing crime, his only purpose is to disarm America. The more criminals use guns to commit crimes, the more ammo he has to push for control, IE: eventual confiscation. An armed populace cannot be easily taken over. All hail king obama.
ReplyDeleteAll he wants is another achievement in his try to get the United States down.
DeleteYou are absolutely correct on all counts. Lax enforcement of gun laws emboldens criminals and would-be criminals and leads to higher crime rates. Higher crime rates sway public opinion toward
Deletegreater acceptance of gun control. Obama
and his leftist cronies have it all figured out. The Government will gradually chisel away on people's gun rights. In the end, we will have a situation like it exists in Europe today. A gun owner who defends himself and his family and shoots and kills a dangerous intruder will be thrown in jail for years or life while the criminal will be portrayed as a victim.
My latest statistics show:About 90,000 die from medical mistakes each year; 43,443+ die in auto accidents yearly; over 18,000 die in home accident a year; approximately 19,457 died from accidental poisoning; 16,885 were killed by drunk drivers in a year; 17,034 were murdered in 2006; It's not the cars, guns, poisons that are the problem, it's educating the people to be responsible for their actions. In short re-establish the family as the foundation of society under the Constitution and the 10 Commandments. Do away with the Federal Department of Education and Welfare.
ReplyDeleteThe Government could not figure out how to prosecute the Dept. of Injustice and the 'fraud' in the Whitehouse for all the crimes associated with 'Fast and Furious'!
