Team Obama Suing To Deny Vote To Active Duty Service Members
Several weeks ago, the Obama for America Campaign, the Democratic National Committee, and the Ohio Democratic Party filed suit in Ohio, a key battleground state, seeking to strike down a law governing the absentee ballots of active duty service members. |
Presently, Ohio allows the general public to cast a ballot in-person up until the Friday before the election, but members of the military are given an additional three days to vote. According to the suit, Team Obama claims that the provisions for active duty
service members are "arbitrary" and have "no discernible rational basis." Hopefully, the American people (Democrats, Republicans and Independents)
won't ignore the plain and simple truth that we now apparently live in a nation
where the regime that is currently in power is attempting to extend the "right"
to vote (voting, technically speaking is not a right, but a duty and a
privilege) to the dead, family pets and minor children; but that same regime is
actively attempting to disenfranchise the men and women in uniform who place
their lives on the line in service to their country. |
