Breaking: Fast And Furious Intentionally Designed To Supply Arms To Sinaloa Cartel?

A high-ranking Sinaloa Cartel operative, who is presently in U.S. custody, has come forward and is claiming that Operation Fast and Furious was not a "failed sting operation," as initially reported by the media, but rather, an intentional effort by the U.S. Government to supply weapons to the Sinaloa Cartel.

According to a shocking report just filed by TheBlaze.com, Fast and Furious "wasn’t about tracking guns, it was about supplying them" to "Mexico’s powerful Sinaloa Cartel to take down rival cartels.".

Jesus Vicente Zambada-Niebla, a high-ranking Sinaloa operative who coordinated logistics for the cartel, says the weapons that ended up in the hands of the cartels were never tracked on purpose because the U.S. Government intended to supply them to Sinaloa in exchange for information from Sinaloa that helped the U.S. Government bring down other cartels that were Sinaloa's rivals.

Zambada-Niebla is scheduled to go on trial on October 9th and while his allegation has not yet been substantiated, TheBlaze.com is reporting that the "case against Zambada-Niebla is being closely monitored by some members of Congress who expect potential legal ramifications if any of his claims are substantiated."

TheBlaze.com goes on to report: "Zambada-Niebla claims that under a 'divide and conquer' strategy, the U.S. helped finance and arm the Sinaloa Cartel through Operation Fast and Furious in exchange for information that allowed the DEA, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and other federal agencies to take down rival drug cartels. The Sinaloa Cartel was allegedly permitted to traffic massive amounts of drugs across the U.S. border from 2004 to 2009... as long as the intel kept coming."
