Thirteen Catholic Senators Stab The Church In The Back

(America's Conservative News) You've already heard that the United States Senate (51-48) derailed an amendment by Senator Roy Blunt (R-MO) that would have reversed the Obama HHS mandate and restored the religious liberty protections for employers who don’t want to be forced to cover abortion, sterilization and birth control under employee health care plans.  However, what you have not heard is is that 13 od the 24 Catholics in the United States Senate sided with the Obama Regime and against the Catholic Church in an effort to derail the Blunt Amendment.

The 13 Senators who voted against the Blunt Amendment are as follows:

Senators Mark Begich (Alaska, D), Tom Harkin (Iowa, D), Richard Durbin (Illinois, D), Mary Landrieu (Louisiana, D), John Kerry (Massachusetts, D), Barbara Mikulski (Maryland, D), Claire McCaskill (Missouri, D), Robert Menendez (New Jersey, D), Kirsten Gillibrand (New York, D), Jack Reed (Rhode Island, D), Pat Leahy (Vermont, D), Maria Cantwell (Washington, D) and Patty Murray (Washington, D).

Spread the word far and wide.

    1. What do you mean faith? They have no faith. Their is just a pin on their shirt. Their faith is being a democrat, liberal, power, money and everything else that goes along with being a politician.

  2. Like most liberal Catholics, these people put their liberal principles ahead of those of their faith. They are liberals first, Catholics second (or third or fourth, etc.). When Catholic principles conflict with those of their liberal agenda, they say it's a matter of "conscience" that leads them to violate their Catholic principles, but in this instance they are also saying in the meantime other people's consciences can go to hell.

    1. What faith? They have no faith. Their faith is just a Catholic pin on their shirt. Their faith/religion is being a democrats, hypocritical liberals, power, money and everything else that goes along with being a politician. Their is no core to these people. They swing whichever way the the money and power is blowing. Look at Pelosi, a big time Catholic and she fully supports birth control? How can she vote and do as she does. Plus then pushes/forces other Democratic Representatives to vote like her no matter what their conscience says.

    1. Of course they won't . Many Catholics believe in Obama and his lies. They have a religion instead of a relationship with Jesus. They follow the lies of this world instead of the word of God. The many many catholics I know hasn't got a clue what the word of God says..

    2. As a Catholic, I'm sad to say that you're right.A lot of Catholics don't know the teachings of the church either. I went to Catholic schools and CCD, but didn't know that contraception was wrong until I was 30. In the 70s and 80s all they taught about was this lovey touchy feely junk- no actual Catecheisis. Oh- and that men were bad because they oppress women.

    3. I can top that one... my mother (who paased away many years ago) taught CCD and instructed that abortion was okay.

  5. I wonder if these senators realize that their judgement day is at hand, also. Gee, I sure hope satan has a whole lot of room down there, cuz, methinks it's going to be getting mighty crowded...very soon.

  7. Maybe if the US Conference of Catholic Bishops would stop kissing the liberal establishment's... ring and publicly excommunicated these individuals, people's faith in the bishops would be restored.

    1. As the father of a Catholic Bishop I would be most hopeful that these men would stand up for God's perfect will in these matters. Certainly one can't be advocating partial birth abortion or euthanasia and those who do should be excommunicated.

  8. if true Christians felt as strong abut their faith as the radical muslims we wouldn't be having this problem but no we are surrounded by part time Christians who are more worried about pushing their communist agenda down our throats

  9. I don't give a damn if a woman wants to use contraception, but why should I, the taxpayer or insurance customer have to pay for it? If I choose to use condoms, I have to pay for them. That is the whole point of why Obama's mandate is assinine in my opinion; not because of religion. What someone does morally is between them and their God, whatever they believe.

  12. End time prophecy being fulfilled. Many will turn from the faith and follow sudducing spirits and doctrines of demons...I am so glad that I have a personal relationship with Christ and not a religion.

  13. The only time these guys are Catholic is when they are making a speech at a Catholic School around election time.

  14. My question is when will the Catholic Bishops begin to stop giving these individuals communion? They rule against the Church's teachings and yet are left untouched for their heresies. Embarrass them by excommunicating them and making an example of they and the priests who worship at the altar of liberalism and those who take the sacrament of the blood of abortion and the flesh of dead babies. Until they as a Church stand upright and strong in their faith's teachings and in the teachings as given in God's Word the Bible, they will remain weak in the minds of their flock and to those of us who are not Catholics.

    1. Technically they've excommunicated themselves already- as for communion, the priests need to refuse them because of a love for them and their souls.
1 Cor. 11:26-29, "For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes. 27 Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.

  15. Commie first, Catholic the last of their priorities. Does anyone really think these baby-murdering scum would vote against their infanticide-loving muslim boss?

  17. The Obama Administration has framed this as a fight over Contraception when it is really a fight over the right to follow one's religious convictions. He is hoping, maybe correctly, that most people, including Catholics, will just see the word "contraception" and look no further into his attack on religious freedom and his attempt to pay back the abortion industry for its support. For, the bill also includes "abortifacients" and there isn't much legal difference between abortifacients and abortion. If the Catholic church crumbles on this, you can bet the next step will be a requirement to subsidize abortions and further erosion of our Freedom of Religion.

    1. This is right. Nothing to do with contraception but in mandating religious institutions, which in turn tramples the first amendment. As far as I remember, contraception has been covered by many insurances for many, many years, including all the free stuff that planned parenthood provides for free or almost free. The name makes me sick since there is nothing about parenthood in their doings. Their main concern is to provide abortions. This I know from personal experience which I am ashamed to admit. I thank the Lord Jesus for His forgiveness, which allows me to continue my life and stand for those that are not able to. We need to stop these people by voting them out of office. I just pray there are enough of us like-minded to do this.
