There are many powerfull, pro-abortion Democrats who are "Catholic" and recently Chris Matthews said: "I'm a Catholic..." and Michael Moore just delclared himself to be "Catholic" and that is "Catholic faith does not allow him to "kill" (referring to the wars we are in); but when asked then how he reconciles this with his staunch pro-abortion stand, he skirts the issues and refuses to deal with it.
ReplyDeletePelosi, Sebellius, and countless more socialist, anti-life "Catholics" making their sin known and public, yet all these Bishops fail to refuse them communion while at the same time "disciplining" Fr. Pavone and dozens of priests like him around the country... Was it St. John Crysosdom in his writing of his visions of hell that the "floors of Hell are paved with the skulls of (errant) Bishops?..." ReplyDeleteBeing politically liberal does not automatically make you pro abortion.
Without commenting on the legality of abortion, a true practicing Catholic will not support abortion in any way.
Also, in contradiction to Michael Moore above, Many fine Catholics serve in the military and the church does not extend the restriction on murder to war.
