Pentagon Tries To Backtrack On Court-Martial Threats To Christian Soldiers

Obama Pentagon officials tried to clear the air on the controversial move to court-martial Christian soldiers for sharing their faith. Apparently Christians are free to discuss their faith as long as they don't discuss their faith...

According to a report in the Washington Examiner: "Christians in the military are allowed to discuss their faith, a Defense Department official said in a statement contradicting reports that such behavior could lead to court-martial."

"'Service members can share their faith (evangelize) but must not force unwanted, intrusive attempts to convert others of any faith or no faith to one’s beliefs (proselytization),' Navy Lt. Cmdr. Nate Christensen wrote in an email to the Marine Corps Times."

    That makes no sense at all. That means it is completely subjective. So in effect the fear of someone claiming you were proselytizing them, keeps you from telling anyone what you personally believe.
