McCain Calls Conservatives 'Wackos Birds'

WND reports: "The cracks in the political philosophies widened when, according to the Huffington Post, McCain referred to" Senators Ted Cruz and Rand Paul and others as "wacko birds"...

"In the same article, McCain went further, 'I think it can be harmful if there is a belief among the American people that those people are reflective of the views of the majority of Republicans. They’re not.'”

"The Senate aide also elaborated on the consequences of these tensions for the 2014 mid-term elections, taking specific aim at Graham’s reelection plan in South Carolina, saying, 'You might see a lot of momentum in the direction in South Carolina in 2014 to support somebody like Cruz, Paul or Lee rather than Lindsey Graham.'"

According to a Public Policy Polling report, conducted in 2011, when hypothetically stacked up against tea party favorite Congressman Joe Wilson in a head to head competition, Graham would trail 43-41."

  1. Now we are certain why so many middle class people did not like McCain and refused to vote for him.

  2. Mc Cain is a Dem in republican clothing. This is why Republicans are unable to win. There are too many of these cross dressers in the Republican party and it would behoove the Republican party to weed these imposters out.

  3. McCain is the wack-O bird..Either he is stupid or their is something in it for him.
He certainly doen't qualify for being Christian.
Yes, I admire his war record, however that is past and he is letting down all of the men in the Armed Services now.
He has got to realize that Obama does not care about our troops, or us, the people.

    1. I spent three years in Vietnam, and watched his dad worry about jr. when news of his capture was released. I did not admire McCain Jr then and even less now.

  4. Old John. Generally, oldness is good--unless the person starts villifying his own people. Could he really be leaning toward the Democrats?

  7. That sort of comment just shows how out of touch McCain is with most who vote Republican. IMHO, he is a doddering, senile old ass who needs to go home to Arizona, live off of his wife's money, and keep his RINO mouth shut.

  9. McCain and Lindsey Graham's intellectual arrogance is showing. They feel like they are too "enlightened" to believe the truth right under their noses. or Like another poster wrote, "Is there something in it for them?" I'm tired of gutless leaders who won't do a thing to stop this man in the Whitehouse who is carrying out a coup against the American people...

  10. Count me in with the "wacko-birds" if that's what McCain and the other GOP Establishment schmucks think opposing uncontitutional, tyrannical activity like domestic drone strikes makes a person. McCain, Lindsey Graham, and others should just change parties and become Democrats. They're RINOs and definitely not looking out for our freedoms that thousands of men have died for the past 200+ years.
