Growing Hostility Toward Christianity In United States According To Recently Released Study

A Christian couple was fired for displaying a painting with a Christian message in the office. Schools forbid students from wearing clothes bearing Christian messages. Such occurrences are more common than most would think.

As a matter of fact, the Liberty Institute and the Family Research Council (FRC) have just published a study showing that at least 600 such incidents of religious hostility toward Christians have occurred in the United States over the past decade.

"A lot of people think that hostility because of people's religious beliefs and attacks on religious liberty are things that happen elsewhere in the world, not in the United States. We just want to show that it actually happens with increasing and alarming regularity here in the United States."

So says Liberty Institute attorney Justin Butterfield who tells OneNewsNow that he hopes the recently released study will "raise awareness of the issue." The bottom line; hostility toward Christianity is no longer something that happens elsewhere in the world. It's alive and well right here in the good ol' USA.

  1. Maybe what you say is true. 600 incidences do not make a trend.

Possibly you should report on the fact that 1 out of 6 women have been sexually abused in their life. 1 out of 33 men have been sexually abused in their life.
    see: http://www.rainn.org

sexual assault and rape victim statistics

    29% are age 12-17.
    44% are under age 18.3
    80% are under age 30.3
