(WCJ) "For the last six years under President Obama, 3.7 million have entered poverty. Under President Obama, the median income for women has dropped by $733. You want to talk about a war on women? That’s a war on women."
Cruz also commented on the impact of Republican women in Congress, saying that "there is no force in politics like Republican women," and that he “would not be in the US Senate today if it were not for Republican women.”
Cruz did not limit himself to generalities about the war on women and Republican women, but he also talked about three women who have inspired him: his wife, his mother, and his aunt Sonia.
