National Review Online reports: "According to Egyptian president
Mohamed Morsi’s official Twitter account, the U.S. ambassador to the country has
apologized for tweeting a link to a video of Comedy Central host Jon Stewart
criticizing Morsi."
"On his show earlier this week, Stewart mocked Morsi for his heavy-handedness in
interrogating an Egyptian comedian for making jokes about Morsi and Islam. The
U.S. embassy shared The Daily Show video the next day on its official Twitter
account, prompting the Egyptian government to call it 'inappropriate' and
'negative political propaganda.'"
