McCain sounded like he was reading a script the establishment gave him. And, I'll tell you one thing- if this had been Bush condoning the killing of Americans without due process, all hell would break loose, and he(Bush) would be demonized as an assassin!

ReplyDeleteThe "babbling" is found in your expressed interpretation of Senator McCain's words. I never heard him say that Paul's "political stunt" was pure garbage. He did say that Americans would not be targeted on American soil or elsewhere without justifiable reason. American citizens who happen to be terrorists or who pose a threat to safety of American citizens can and will be targeted on American soil or elsewhere. This makes sense to me. I would rather have terrorists in my neighborhood rendered harmless. Senator McCain has proven that he is a committed American. Rand Paul has proven nothing except that he may be playing the political tricks that will allow his candidacy for the presidency in the future.
