Obama: Connecticut Shooting A Call To Raise Taxes
(Washington Times) Obama said Wednesday that last week’s school shooting in
Connecticut should push House Republicans to step back from a partisan battle,
relent and pass his budget deal, which he said was a "balanced" approach.

the budget, and said it’s time House Speaker John A. Boehner take the deal that
the White House has put on the table.
