Papa Johns Pizza And Applebees Being Squeezed By ObamaCare Thugs

It's already starting. Left-wing Obama shock troops and thugs are calling for a boycott of Papa Johns Pizza because its CEO had the audacity to say that he might have to raise the price of pizza and he fears franchisees may be forced to consider cutting employees' hours to cover costs that will be associated with implementing ObamaCare.

If you still doubt the premise that ObamaCare had nothing to do with healthcare and everything to do with crushing businesses, and thereby, crushing the economy of the United States, consider the following from Michelle Malkin:

"Among the commandments of life under the Obama administration: thou shalt not speak ill of Obamacare. Papa John’s CEO John Schnatter was hammered with Twitter abuse after informing shareholders and franchisees in August that implementing Obamacare would necessarily increase costs of running the business.

And Obama's Twitter thugs are targeting the Applebees restaurant chain as well. Malkin adds: "Applebee’s is under the gun today after Zane Tankel, a franchisee whose company runs 40 New York-area restaurants, told Fox Business Network that a hiring freeze might be in the works.

  2. As I understand it, the concern with Papa John's is not that it might raise the price of pizzas (by less than 25 cents each--who cares?); instead the concern is the threat to cut worker hours (presumably to get them below the threshhold so Papa Johns will not have to pay benefits at all. Let Papa Johns make the small hike in pizza prices. But do not support Papa John in cutting workers out of benefits.

    1. I will continue to support businesses. When will these people get it that socialism is not fun free or easy. Socialism is the beginning of all things bad for society. It's too bad it will destroy this great country before they are smart enough to figure it out and then it will be too late. They have no idea what they have done but they are going to find out very shortly. This healthcare is going to cost 10 times the projected cost like everything the govt does
and they are going to just take more from us. Soooo stupid. Nothing is free.
