Obama Designates The Home Of Cesar Chavez A National Monument

The Associated Press put a happy face on the announcement and missed yet another opportunity to set the record straight on Cesar Chavez and thereby illustrate Obama's love affair with the radical left to the American people.

Many lionize Chavez as a hero, but the man who is credited with coining the phrase "Sí Se Puede" (Yes, We Can) that Obama used in the 2008 campaign was also an extreme radical who was connected to Saul Alinsky and ACORN founder Wade Rathke.
(AP) - President Obama is designating the California home of labor leader Cesar Chavez as a national monument, a move likely to shore up support from Latino and progressive voters just five weeks before the election.

The White House said Monday that Obama will establish the Cesar E. Chavez National Monument in Keene (Kern County) during a campaign swing through California next week.

The property is known as La Paz, short for Nuestra Señora Reina de la Paz, or Our Lady Queen of Peace. The site served as national headquarters of the United Farm Workers union, as well as Chavez's home, from the early 1970s until his death in 1993. Chavez is buried there and his grave site will be part of the monument.

  1. They even named an American Naval ship after the dope, who described his 2 years of service as "The worst two years of my life"! Forget about Medal of Honor winners or someone that counts as a hero to our country, lets go for the Obama vote.
