I remain skeptical about Hilary's taking one for the team, her presumptive selflessness. I suspect that she would accept responsibility for the lapse in security only to conceal her first trying to disseminate a lie, her lie--namely, that some obscure video provoked a demonstration that spun out of control. The State Department watched the attack--no demonstration--in real time. It is inconceivable that they would keep information about the attack from Secretary Clinton, or from President Obama. I think it more plausible that Obama and Clinton have decided it is better for the Secretary to admit incompetence than for her and the president to admit that they lied about the attack and changed their story only when it fell part under scrutiny.
