Mystery Man In The Room When Rove Threatened Todd Akin

You'll never guess who was in the audience when Karl Rove spoke to a group of big-money folk and made his reprehensible comment about killing Congressman Todd Akin.

According to Sheelah Kolhatkar of Bloomberg Business Week, it was none other than John Paulson. While few know him, Paulson is a notorious hedge fund billionaire and crony of George Soros.

While the revelation is buried halfway through the article, when Cliff Kincaid notes Paulson's attendance, he also reminds us that Paulson was suspected of playing a role in our economic collapse a few years ago. As Kincaid explains it: "Soros had arranged a private meeting with Paulson. Soros, a major backer of Obama, was also suspected of playing a role in the collapse. Soros is an international currency manipulator who has destabilized entire nations, including our own. He basically funds the progressive movement today."
