Allen West Treats Congressional Black Caucus To Some Chick-fil-A

When Congressman Allen West purchased meals from Chick-fil-A for his peers on the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) six months ago, the offense was apparently so egregious and horrendous that members of the CBC are still buzzing over it.

Congressman Alcee Hastings, the Chairman of the CBC chanted that West "did it deliberately."

Hastings incidentally is a former federal judge who ran for Congress shortly after being impeached by the United States House of Representatives by a 413-3 vote in 1988 on charges of bribery and perjury. The Senate convicted him in 1989, on a vote of 69-26, on eight seperate articles of impeachment, making Hasting only the sixth federal judge ever removed from the bench on an impeachment conviction in the history of the United States.

Mediate.com reports that Hastings said: “We have fried chicken. And we have catfish and BBQ. ... [We have] collard greens. We have Jamaican beans and rice,” but apparently, Chick-fil-A is just not racially sensitive enough for Hastings and his fellow socialists on the CBC.
