While Barack Obama is attempting to back away from his 'you didn't built it"
screed, other leftists such as Elizabeth Warren are doubling down on that
idiocy. Here's a video showing Barack Obama and Elizabeth Warren for the
socialists that they are.
It's only about a minute long but Warren's rant is reminiscent of the manic
moment that marked the end of Howard Dean's run for president. Watch Warren
gesture wildly and frantically as she screams at a crowd of supporters.
"I hear all this... you know... well, this is class warfare... this is
what... No! There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own. Nobody! You
built a factory out there, good for you, but I want to be clear. You moved your
goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for. You were safe in your
factory because of police forces and fire forces that the rest of us paid for."
Sorry to disabuse you of the notion Elizabeth, but we now live in a country
where approximately half of the working age population pays no federal income
taxes and the total tax burden is disproportionately thrown onto the backs of
the middle class and the small business owners. Those of us who pay taxes paid
for those roads Elizabeth, we paid for the food stamps, we paid into Social
Security, we paid for the schools and the police and the firemen.
But hopefully, since you are running for federal office, we all will be spared
from having to pay your salary
