Some contend the media flap over George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin is
simply an effort to set the stage to eventually push the general public into
accepting the premise that there's an excuse for more stringent gun-control
measures.
And
Alex Jones, of InfoWars.com, has even gone so far as to contend that the
terrible tragedy in Colorado was really staged by U.S. intelligence and security
services to produce a pro gun-control political atmosphere within the United
States.
Jones goes even further with his premise and contends: "Another motive is to
increase the role of the TSA, beef up security in all areas of society, and make
the American people accept the new radical changes as necessary and legitimate."
Spooky stuff, but what is even spookier is that it's not even necessary to
believe Jones or others to acknowledge that far too many political and media
elites are far too willing to "pimp" these incidents to tilt American public
opinion towards the acceptance of gun-control laws and regulations; and pressure
elected officials into backing the Federal government on gun control.
We can't ignore the connection. On July 27, 2012, Barack Obama and Hillary
Clinton are likely to sign the UN gun control treaty. The media frenzy over
Trayvon and Colorado is more than just a strange coincidence.
Of course, while some, like Jones, may choose to speculate over whether the
government is behind these incidents (and who knows, he may be right, anything
is possible when it comes to the Gangsta' Obama Regime), does it really
doesn't matter?
Is not the plain-and-simple fact that the political and media elites are making
such a big deal out of these events enough to convince any reasonable person
that powerful people are indeed "pimping" these tragic incidents to push a
horrible political agenda?
One thing is for certain, a mass shooting can also be a form of political
terrorism, and if the political motives are not raised in the media, or by the
police, or by our elected officials; and moreover, if discussion of the possible
political motives of those in the media and in government who push these stories
is actually suppressed, then would it be unreasonable to ask if the United
States has already taken too many steps down the road to totalitarianism?
