Chick-fil-A: The Right Views On Gay Rights

When it comes to holding the right views on gay rights, Dan Cathy, son of Chick-fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy, doesn't make any apologies; and when it comes to the failure of our nation to uphold the sanctity of marriage, Cathy says that we're inviting God's judgment on the nation. B. (ImpeachObamaCampaign.com) This chain is no stranger to backlash from the gay community, as some organizations have conducted comprehensive investigations into its ties to supposedly anti-gay groups. Previously, though, company execs have stopped short of actively opposing gay marriage.
In a series of events beginning with a radio appearance last month, Cathy, son of Chick-fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy, made some very direct statements about the company’s stance on marriage.

“I think we are inviting God’s judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at Him and say, ‘We know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage,’” he said during the radio interview. He continued by saying he prays for God’s mercy on America for its “prideful, arrogant attitude” toward the sanctity of marriage.
