Now Liberals Are Calling Conservatives Vampires
(GodFatherPolitics.com) The latest attack is coming from the producers of the TV show True Blood. Not content to fill the show with bloody pornography, a new storyline will take on the church-state debate. Creator Ball told Entertainment Weekly.
“My first instinct about going into religion and politics was from watching Michele Bachmann, who thinks she has a direct line to God. What would happen if she became president? A lot of right-wingers would like to see a theocracy in America. From there we thought, ‘What would a vampire theocracy be and how would you justify it? What kind of impact would it have on humans?’”

I kind of fail to see how saying that a producer of fictional television citing inspiration constitutes calling anyone a vampire. I see, at most, someone accusing Michele Bachmann having a unique theocratic view in on politics they thought could be entertainingly adapted to a television series. He's obviously not being complimentary, but he's also got the right to draw inspiration from whatever source he wants for his FICTION show. Which people have the right to, gasp!, not watch if they don't like it! In fact, one has to go out of the way to watch an HBO show more than most networks. Thank God the First Amendment gives him the right to sell his self-expression to those who offer him money for his ideas. And Thank God for the right to deny him that money if you disagree.
