Spike Lee Tweets Wrong Address For George Zimmerman. Elderly Couple Flees In Fear.

(ACN Staff) Amid growing calls to bring George Zimmerman "to justice," movie celebrity Spike Lee sent a Twitter message to his 250,000 plus followers giving  Zimmerman's home address. Of course, there was one glaring problem with Lee's tweet.  He gave the wrong address and now the elderly that actually lives at the tweeted address has been forced to flee their home and seek refuge in a hotel.

George Zimmerman, as everyone who has not been living under a rock this past week knows, is the man who shot Trayvon Martin in self defense.

According to FOX News, the elderly woman's son said: "It’s scary because there are people who aren’t mentally right and will take this information and run with it. To endanger people who are innocent because people are angry is not the answer. That’s not how we’re going to heal. It’s not [going] to help the Martin family for someone else to be hurt.”

When asked for Mr. Lee's reaction to these developments and his wrongful calls for vigilante justice, a spokesperson for Lee's production company, 40 Acres And A Mule, replied, "no comment."

As previously reported, Zimmerman is also in hiding and Seminole State College (SSC) recently expelled Zimmerman from school based on "safety concerns."

SSC released a statement which read, in part: "Due to the highly charged and high-profile controversy involving this student, Seminole State has taken the unusual but necessary step this week to withdraw Mr. Zimmerman from enrollment. This decision is based solely on our responsibility to provide for the safety of our students on campus as well as for Mr. Zimmerman."

In other developments, the Eric Holder In-Justice Department, which has yet to answer why it was actively running assault weapons to dangerous drug cartels, has yet to take any actions to investigate a $10,000 "open hit" placed on Zimmerman by the New Black Panther Party.

And apparently, no one in the Holder-Obama In-Justice Department is investigating the individuals who are donating money to the New Black Panthers to pay for the "hit."

According to The Orlando Sentinel, the National Chairman of the New Black Panthers, "Dr. Malik Zulu Shabaz of Washington, D.C. is receiving donations from black entertainers and athletes. ... The party said they would not release the names of donors nor would they provide documentation to support the existence of donations."

When The Sentinel asked New Black Panther leader Mikhail Muhammad whether he was inciting violence, Muhammad replied defiantly saying: “An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.”

Still Developing....

Update:  On Wednesday evening, according to a post on The Washington Post blog, Spike Lee apologized to the elderly couple via Twitter.  One can only wonder if the couple use Twitter, but the importance of Lee's followers viewing the tweet can't be dismissed.

The Post goes on to state: "But what if it had been the correct address for Zimmerman — what action did Lee hope his quarter-million followers would take? At his office’s direction, we faxed Lee the question; we’ll update if he responds. Meanwhile, comedian and Green Party presidential hopeful Roseanne Barr tweeted Zimmerman’s actual address, reports The Smoking Gun, but deleted it when she realized that, as she tweeted, “vigilante-ism is what killed Trayvon. I don’t support that.”
