O'Reilly Doubles Down On Insulting Christians
|
On Tuesday night’s edition of The O’Reilly Factor, host Bill
O’Reilly devoted the first 20 minutes of the show — and another segment later on
with Charles Krauthammer — to refuting what he characterized as unfair attacks
on his recent positions. And most of that time was spent defending his claim
that traditionalists haven’t mounted a compelling argument against faux
marriage, that all they can do is “thump the Bible.” Input Your Primary Email Address Below And You'll Receive A Free Gift, Our Downloadable Report On The Cloward-Piven Strategy.

It is not Bible Thumping. It is what I believe. Just as a Muslim believes the Koran I am a Christian. I believe the Bible. A true believer cannot pick & choose what part of the Bible they believe. It is the Book, & Word they try to live by. I say try, because no one is perfect. So as I live my life I try to live by God's word.
ReplyDeleteMe too! AMEN!
ReplyDeleteO'Reilly is a bum and a know it all.
ReplyDeleteWhy would anyone listen to oreilly when he once said he was in Vietnam. But in truth he never served and didn't admit it until he was called on it.
Well, on some issues I agree with him and others, like this one, I strongly disagree. I am not offended by his insult but from a perspective of viewer ratings, you would think he would not want to continue to insult a portion of his audience. I will never, ever, support homosexual marriage even if the majority of Americans compromise their moral convictions. The same for all other bad behavior.
ReplyDeleteThere is only one Author of Life who designed Creation. Divine Revelation from this Good Author is found in the Bible and supplies one with true wisdom...which is knowledge in relation to God. It is beneficial for us to rely on this unchanging, life-giving, and freedom nurturing revelation to maintain a strong foundation of virtue in our culture. The Author of Life has told us what is good. The good comes before the right. A mere human mortal can not change God's stated meaning of what is good and bad.
ReplyDeleteThe way O'Reilly uses his program to advertise his books, you might think he is making as much money as he can before he might be asked to leave Fox. I usually watch Cavuto on Fox Business opposite O'reilly anyway.
ReplyDeleteI have watched O'Reilly for years and usually agree with him. I, however, agree that it is becoming tiresome all the promoting of his books. In addition, he does a great deal of good for the military and especially through Wounded Warriers. I believe he is very charitable. However, having said all of that I am enormously upset with him about his take on the Bible and his insistence on not letting it go. All Christians know that the writing of the Bible was inspired by God and, therefore, not open to man's personal opinions. He is dead wrong on this one but has become so arrogant with his success that he cannot stand to be criticized. He has also become terribly rude to even his replacement hosts when they dare to disagree at all.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree.
