Team Obama Suing To Deny Vote To Active Duty Service Members

As Shylock General Eric Holder squanders our federal tax dollars actively pursuing various battleground states that are attempting to curtail legitimate voter fraud, Team Obama is suing the state of Ohio to squelch the voting rights of active duty service members.

Several weeks ago, the Obama for America Campaign, the Democratic National Committee, and the Ohio Democratic Party filed suit in Ohio, a key battleground state, seeking to strike down a law governing the absentee ballots of active duty service members.

Presently, Ohio allows the general public to cast a ballot in-person up until the Friday before the election, but members of the military are given an additional three days to vote.

According to the suit, Team Obama claims that the provisions for active duty service members are "arbitrary" and have "no discernible rational basis."

Now that the proverbial cat is out of the bag, we can only assume that the public will be asked to ignore the rather curious choice by Team Obama to disenfranchise members of the military in the battleground state of Ohio.

While were at it, we can only assume that Team Obama will want the American people to not only ignore the fact that Ohio is a key battleground state, which may very well decide the outcome of the presidential election, but also ignore the fact that the race in Ohio is anticipated to be very close.

But why stop there, let's also ignore the fact that members of the military are thought to be much more inclined to vote for Mitt Romney.

Of course, Team Obama is claiming that the purpose of the legal action is not to disenfranchise our men and women in uniform, but rather, to ensure that all residents of Ohio have the same rights.  Nice try Team Obama.

Hopefully, the American people (Democrats, Republicans and Independents) won't ignore the plain and simple truth that we now apparently live in a nation where the regime that is currently in power is attempting to extend the "right" to vote (voting, technically speaking is not a right, but a duty and a privilege) to the dead, family pets and minor children; but that same regime is actively attempting to disenfranchise the men and women in uniform who place their lives on the line in service to their country.

So much for the Gore-Liebermann mantra of "every vote should count."
