Hastings incidentally is a former federal judge who ran for Congress shortly
after being impeached by the United States House of Representatives by a 413-3
vote in 1988 on charges of bribery and perjury. The Senate convicted him in
1989, on a vote of 69-26, on eight seperate articles of impeachment, making
Hasting only the sixth federal judge ever removed from the bench on an
impeachment conviction in the history of the United States.
Mediate.com reports that Hastings said: “We have fried chicken. And we
have catfish and BBQ. ... [We have] collard greens. We have Jamaican beans and
rice,” but apparently, Chick-fil-A is just not racially sensitive enough for
Hastings and his fellow socialists on the CBC.

Does the CBC actually have an effect on anyone or on any other political body? Aren't the reasons for even having a racial group of any kind in the congress archaic? Just asking.....
ReplyDeleteCORRECT AGAAIN! "They're all about = 'a little bit of Nothn'...!" IT was FREE! Did They eat it? (Bet they ate it while they complained - Please pass a leg... I Bet that they ate it anyway).
ReplyDeleteLet me see if I understand. There is a group of Congressional members that meet independently of Congress and they call themselves "The Congressional Black Caucus." To be a member of this group, you cannot be of oriental decent, you cannot be of Native American decent, you cannot be of European decent, you MUST be dark skinned. You must call yourself a hyphenated American. Okay, so the ONLY requirement to be a member is that you MUST be black skinned to be a member of this organization who complains almost daily about other people being biased and racist. As Spock would say..."Illogical."
ReplyDeleteThe there is the Congressional Progressive Cuacus founded by Bernie Saunders some years back. To be a member you must be a "Progressive" (translation: a socialist-communist-symp). A number of the CBC members also hold membership in the CPC
