If people actually loved God and Jesus and followed the Ten Commandments, there would be less crime and strife and less money would be wasted on stupid things like lawsuits and penalties and high medical expenses, etc.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5809277197679874020.post-51074397734753968132012-07-28T17:49:20.511-07:002012-07-28T17:49:20.511-07:00Be prepared to pay your taxes, girlsBe prepared to pay your taxes, girlsAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5809277197679874020.post-64933231880556801362012-07-26T07:16:07.679-07:002012-07-26T07:16:07.679-07:00Regardless of you stand on prostitution, the U.N. ...Regardless of you stand on prostitution, the U.N. is once again sticking its nose into areas of world politics where they have no business. This is just one more step toward One World Government. Get us out of the U.N.!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5809277197679874020.post-29016094542427757642012-07-26T06:19:47.244-07:002012-07-26T06:19:47.244-07:00Why would prostitutes become registered? If they break the law now they will continue breaking the law so they can avoid all the hassles that go with being registered. It's much easier to do the trick and pocket the money. Now for these global policy elitists who currently use prostitutes, they would love to decriminalize this activity so they can justify their debauchery. And it would give these power freaks, like Strauss-Kahn, a way of escape for their inappropriate behavior. Decriminalizing prostitution does nothing so just leave it as is.Johnnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5809277197679874020.post-52622598508498329552012-07-25T23:27:20.472-07:002012-07-25T23:27:20.472-07:00I've lectured on related topics around the wor...I've lectured on related topics around the world, and my one wish would be that people actually examined things they believe and thought them through.

If you actually had knowledge of the "studies" to which you allude, you'd know that most of them are bogus studies that were designed specifically to bolster specific and erroneous conclusions (the UN, byt the way, specializes in that deceptive technique).

The problem with legalizing just about any behavior, that has been traditionally illegal, is that "legalizing" the behavior does not address what compelled our ancestors to make the behavior illegal in the first place. Moreover, it simply encourages the harmful behavior.

Morals do not exhist in a vacuum or simply because some people enjoy telling other people how to live their lives. Morality developed as a mechanism for societies to discourage behaviors that are harmful to the society.

There is rarely any such thing as free will when it comes to the sex trade. Prostitution is, by nature, exploitive of other human beings and one can't stop exploitation by legalizing it or even regulating it.

The Dutch found that out the hard way. In Las Vegas, where prostitution is essentially legal, it's the same story. It helps to fuel the illegal drug trade, physical assaults, the break-up of families etc.

All that being said, I believe you're missing the broader point here, namely that the United Nations has no business or authority dictating to the people of sovereign nations.America's Conservative Newshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14169271939148467408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5809277197679874020.post-67593176449548541272012-07-25T22:58:59.755-07:002012-07-25T22:58:59.755-07:00Janice Crouse asserts what you say. Think about it: A prostitute who is licensed and regularly tested for disease is going to spread less disease than one who is never screened.
And as for morality: Your argument makes no sense. Murder in not a dual-consensual act. Sexual activity between a prositute and a customer IS consensual and therefor a matter for their individual moral choice.
